CTOnews.com, April 18, 2008, Zaifu Group participated in the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, focusing on solutions in three major technology areas: electrification, software-defined cars and self-driving.

Electric drive is one of the core technical pillars of ZF. So far, the total amount of orders received by ZF Electric Drive Division around the world has reached 30 billion euros. ZF brings the next generation 800 volt drive system, which includes a more efficient silicon carbide inverter, a higher power density motor and a lighter deceleration mechanism; innovative inverter technology has faster switching frequency and low loss, higher conductivity and heat resistance.

On the software side, ZF can fully combine the vertical, horizontal and vertical chassis motion actuators to provide a complete system for software-defined functions of the vehicle.

ZF's technology can control the vehicle in six degrees of freedom without having to be mechanically connected to the steering wheel or brake pedal.

ZF announced that it will provide coDrive L2 + class driving assistance system for a Chinese mainframe factory electric model in 2023, including multi-lane diversion and leading memory parking assistance, which will be launched in the Chinese and European markets in 2023.

CTOnews.com learned officially that ZF achieved sales of 43.8 billion euros in 2022, and the Asia-Pacific region, dominated by China, accounts for about 25 per cent of the group's global sales and plans to reach 30 per cent by 2030.
