CTOnews.com, April 18, Microsoft today issued a press release inviting Beta channel Office Insider project members to test the new note-taking application OneNote on the Win11 platform and experience the new gesture eraser (scratch-out gesture) function.

Microsoft says Office Insider project members can access the Pen tool and then use zigzag or circular strokes on the words, letters or graffiti they want to delete to clean up the content more quickly.

CTOnews.com Note: Office Insider needs to be in version 1632.10000 and later to test this feature. If you don't want this feature, you can visit the File > Options > Advanced > Pen path and uncheck "Enable the scratch-out gesture while inking".
