OpenEuler Developer Day 2023 (ODD2023) is a top developer summit sponsored by the openEuler community of the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation. The conference will be held offline and online simultaneously from April 20 to 21.

ODD 2023 is designed to continuously promote innovation and breakthroughs in operating systems and even basic software. The summit will fully showcase the features of the newly released 23.03 innovative version, the technical achievements of diversity computing and panoramic collaboration, the sharing of Euler-based business practices in various industries, and the cooperation between openEuler and international open source communities and universities, as well as research progress. At the same time, ODD is also a large annual working meeting of the community to discuss the version route and joint innovation. OpenEuler has always been with developers, using Euler to build a solid software foundation, the achievement of every developer's Euler era.

At the online media pre-communication meeting on the morning of April 17, Liang Bing, chairman of the Euler Open Source Community Brand Committee, and Bai Chen, member of the standing Committee, gave media answers to the two-day summit and shared the preliminary work arrangements and key contents of the summit during the conference.

The agenda of the conference is two days, including 1 Keynote, 5 closed-door meetings, 6 technical sub-forums, more than 40 SIG group open working meetings held simultaneously, and a developer night party. Community contributors, industry users and ecological partners will come together to discuss the development trend of computing cutting-edge technologies and operating systems, share business case practices, community innovation achievements, and so on.

As a heavyweight part of the summit, Keynote on the morning of April 21 will invite academician Ni Guangnan and Open Atom Open Source Foundation Chairman Sun Wenlong, Euler Community Chairman Jiang Dayong, and enterprise user representatives such as Kirin, Kirin Xinan, Unixin, superfusion to attend the conference to share the views on the development of the operating system industry, the application practice of the Euler industry, and the achievements of joint innovation. Work together to build a digital infrastructure open source operating system that supports diverse computing.

At the same time, the conference will produce many major announcements, including the joint innovation program of openEuler community results and the whole scene will also be unveiled at the summit site. After Keynote, six technical sub-forums will be held on the afternoon of April 21, focusing on six core topics: security, diversity computing, Euler developer services, Linux kernel, migration, operation and maintenance, and embedded.

Euler is an open source operating system for digital infrastructure, supporting server, cloud computing, edge computing, embedded and other application scenarios. The first full-scene cycle version of digital infrastructure, openEuler 22.03 LTS, was released in March last year. By the end of 2022, the total installed capacity of Euler has reached more than 3 million sets, with a 25% new market share in the field of server operating systems in China. Thanks to the efforts of all members and developers of the Euler open source community, more than 800 enterprises have joined the community, more than 13600 contributors, and formed 13600 SIG groups. In November last year, openEuler won the 2022 World Internet leading Science and Technology Award for the first time.
