The impeller diameter reached 216m, making it the largest onshore unit blade with offline impeller diameter in the world. After leading the record of the longest wind turbine blades at sea, Mingyang made another breakthrough in the diameter of onshore wind power blades.

Figure from Mingyang intelligent large-scale, lightweight, high reliability, is the concentrated characteristics of this blade. The R & D team overcame the design problem of long and soft blades on land, and achieved the best balance between blade power generation performance and unit cost. The blade can be carried not only in the 5MW and 6MW onshore wind turbines independently developed by Mingyang, but also in the flagship models MySE7.15-216and MySE8.5-216launched by Mingyang for desert, Gobi and desert wind power bases. In view of the extreme weather such as wind and sand and severe cold in the "Sha GE wasteland" area, Mingyang customized R & D in the use of blade airfoil families and materials to ensure the reliability of the unit.

According to officials, the release of Mingyang MySE216 oversized blades on land is another record-setting following the breakthrough of "100 +" on land blades, leading the path of large-scale development of domestic land wind turbines and driving down the cost of wind energy. it will also promote the development and upgrading of the whole industry chain of research and development, manufacturing and testing of large-scale equipment in the Shage wasteland area, helping the adjustment and transformation of the energy structure in the Shago wasteland and the whole country.
