CTOnews.com April 15 Microsoft today released a press release for Xbox Insider players on Alpha and Alpha Skip channels announcing the discontinuation of Xbox Home Experience testing.

Microsoft said the main reason for the retirement was that Xbox Insider project players were not interested in the new Home experience. CTOnews.com translated the blog post as follows:

Player feedback said the new Home interface was too crowded and did not reserve enough space to appreciate the wallpaper background. We're trying to balance the experience, accessibility, features, and needs of our community and bring you a renewed Home experience.
