CTOnews.com April 15, Steve Jobs (Steve Jobs) served as Apple's CEO for 4249 days, and according to foreign technology media Cult Of Mac reports, Tim Cook (Tim Cook) has broken the record, becoming the longest serving CEO in Apple's history.

Chris Espinosa (Chris Espinosa) posted on Mastodon on Thursday that Cook has been Apple's longest-serving CEO for more than 4250 days. CTOnews.com Note: Espinosa joined Apple in 1976 and still works at Apple.

Touyuan Flicker Jobs took the helm of Apple in 1997, but the title at the time was "interim CEO" and was only officially appointed as CEO in 2000.

Tim Cook became CEO of Apple in August 2011 and has served ever since. If Jobs'"interim CEO" is taken into account, Cook will not be able to overtake Jobs as the longest-serving CEO in Apple's history in October 2025.
