CTOnews.com, April 13 (Xinhua)-- according to MacRumors, Apple is considering integrating Siri's screen interface into "Smart Island" on the new iPhone, according to an anonymous source who has been sharing details about the so-called new features in iOS 17.

Currently, invoking Siri by pressing a button or using the "Hey Siri" voice command causes the animated sphere to appear at the bottom of the screen. When the virtual assistant listens, the sphere is still covered on the screen, any details related to the request are displayed in the form of a card at the top or bottom of the screen, and the background content is darkened.

Moving the Siri interface to "Dynamic Island" may keep the screen content in full view. At first, the Siri interface occupied the entire screen as long as the user interacted with the virtual assistant, but Apple switched to a more compact interface in iOS 14, making it the default choice.

According to anonymous sources, Apple "may use the Smart Island version of Siri it is currently testing", and "more" notifications will appear on the "Smart Island" interface. Apple is expected to extend the "Smart Island" hardware and software design to all four iPhone 15 models this year.
