Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, April 13 (Xinhua) A few months ago, Microsoft launched a sidebar for its Edge browser, which allows users to pin down the site and access a variety of tools, such as image generators, tools, Microsoft 365, Bing AI, etc.
Sidebar functions are constantly evolving, and some of them may be a little weird. For example, the latest sidebar update allows users to separate the sidebar from the browser window into a taskbar-like panel on the right side of the desktop.
According to CTOnews.com, users can use the new sidebar in Edge Canary 114.0.1791.0 and click the detach button next to the "Settings" icon in the lower right corner to secure it to the right side of the desktop. This creates a layout with a taskbar at the bottom and a sidebar on the right. As long as the user hovers the cursor over it, the corresponding function will be turned on, which the user cannot change for the time being.
If you don't like this feature, you can click the close button to reattach the sidebar to Microsoft Edge. This feature may feel a little aggressive to some people, but it may be convenient for users who use ultra-wide screens.
