According to CTOnews.com, Beiyao Beta is the first 2K image-level high-precision lidar in China, jointly designed by Didi autopilot and lidar Beixing Company, while Orca Orca is a mass-produced three-domain fusion computing platform developed by Didi autopilot, integrating intelligent driving domain, cockpit domain and network domain.

Didi autopilot COO Meng Xing also announced new developments in autopilot production. Didi self-driving is combining the capabilities of new energy companies to jointly define and mass-produce self-driving new energy online car-hailing, and has cooperated in Robotaxi product definition, vehicle platform selection, cockpit and intelligent driving system development. The first model will be connected to Didi's shared travel network in 2025 to achieve round-the-clock, large-scale mixed order dispatch.

Didi autopilot COO Meng Xing also said that since the launch of the large-scale manned demonstration application of Shanghai Intelligent Network United Automobile in June 2020, and since Didi opened its service to the public for the first time, Didi autopilot has been open for more than 1000 days, realizing zero primary responsibility for safety accidents, and successfully unlocking complex city scenes such as school gates, street stalls and night markets. According to reports, Didi autopilot has provided 24-hour autopilot service in Shanghai Jiading since this year.
