CTOnews.com April 13, Ross Young, CEO of screen supply chain consulting firm DSCC, tweeted about Google's Pixel 8 series of phones.

Tweets show that Google's Pixel 8 phone will have a 6.16-inch screen, compared with a 6.32-inch screen for Pixel 7 phones.

Netizens joked: "all fans of Sony Xperia phones will transition to Pixel Compact." CTOnews.com learned from tweets that Google's Pixel 8 Pro phone has the same screen size as the Pixel 7 Pro, which is also 6.7in.

The tweet also says that both models of the Pixel 8 series use screens from Samsung Display and will begin mass production in May this year.
