CTOnews.com reported on April 12 that on July 26 last year, the director of the Russian Federal Space Agency said last year that Russia would withdraw from the International Space Station project after 2024. In February this year, Russia proposed to extend the life of the Russian segment of the International Space Station to 2028.

Today, Borissov, president of the Russian National Aerospace Group, said that the Russian part of the International Space Station will be extended to 2028. The Russian space agency's plan is not to withdraw from the International Space Station project until its own space station ROSS is launched.

For some time last year, the industry debated whether Russia would withdraw from the International Space Station after the director of the Russian Space Agency hinted that it would withdraw from the International Space Station project in 2024. However, the Russian Space Agency later informed NASA that it would not withdraw from the project until at least 2028.

Earlier today, Vladimir Kozhvnikov, deputy chief designer of Russian Energy Rocket and Space Company, said that the construction of the Russian orbital station would start in 2024.

The Russian rail station will be completed in two steps between 2028 and 2035, the draft design will be completed in the summer of 2023, and the full construction of the station is scheduled to be completed by 2032, instead of 2035 as previously planned, he said.

"We are considering putting the first module module into orbit in 2027 and completing the deployment of the Russian orbital station by 2032," Kozhevnikov said in an interview with the Russian newspaper. "

According to previous reports by CTOnews.com, the first phase of the Russian rail station ROSS includes four basic modules, and the second phase includes three modules, including target and production modules and service platforms.

It is worth mentioning that the orbital inclination of ROSS is as high as 9698 °, that is, it almost revolves around the north and south poles. The orbital inclination of the International Space Station is 51.6 °and that of the Chinese Space Station is 42 °.
