According to reports, the firmware upgrades of the two models have added support for deformed wide-screen lens reverse extrusion display, 24-frame DCI 4K video recording, one-click switch Scriq function, new professional file naming format and new support for the new Creators' App.

CTOnews.com reported that Sony released a full-picture movie camera FX3 in 2021 with a single suggested retail price of 32000 yuan. In 2022, Sony released the FX30 4K Super 35mm format movie camera, which starts at 14000 yuan.
