At present, LG display has also stopped South Korea's local LCD panel production business, LCD business only Guangzhou 8.5 line is still in operation. India is said to have failed because of disagreement, leaving a South Korean company in the process of acquisition, which is expected to be completed within the second quarter.

Therefore, the industry chain believes that the only Guangzhou LCD line that LG shows in the LCD field will also be sold. UBI Research has negotiated with a number of companies about the sale of its LCD plant in Guangzhou, China, but is currently negotiating with Huaxing Optoelectronics, according to Li Zhongxun, a LG Display research representative.

According to first Finance, for the rumors that TCL Huaxing may take over the LGD Guangzhou 8.5 generation liquid crystal panel production line, LGD related people also said that this is not consistent with the facts, while TCL Huaxing also said that "the news is not true."

Li Yaqin, general manager of Group Intelligence Consulting, said, "now many families are talking about it, and there is no sign that which one will win, so it is too early."

Rong Chaoping, senior research manager of AVCRevo, also said that in the second half of last year, LGD has been in contact with many potential domestic buyers, including domestic panel manufacturers, domestic color TV manufacturers, and so on. Skyworth, a domestic color TV company, once took a stake in LGD Guangzhou 8.5G line, but asked whether it would take over this production line, Skyworth related people said "I have not heard of it."
