CTOnews.com, April 12, Mediaworkstations recently upgraded its a-X2P mobile workstation with 2 AMD EPYC 9654 processors, 192 cores and 384 threads, and 3TB's DDR5 memory.

Although a-X2P is classified into notebook types, it doesn't have much to do with portability. The a-X2P fuselage measures 16.35 x 24.6 x 10.6 inches, compared with 15.10 x 23.10 x 9.03 inches in the previous generation. After the upgrade, the weight also increased from 45 pounds to 55 pounds, an increase of 13%.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the new a-X2P mobile workstation provides 24 DDR5 slots, each supporting the DDR5-4800 3DS RDIMM with the highest 256GB and memory with the highest 3TB.

The a-X2P can be configured with up to six external screens, and the official price information has not been released.
