This is a necessary security update that users can install through Windows Update or through the direct download link. This update does not make major changes to the task manager, start menu, desktop, settings, task bar, and so on, as in the previous update, but it still contains some noteworthy changes.

According to CTOnews.com, this update includes all of the optional updates for March, and this update also brings a new feature to include the local administrator password solution (LAPS) as part of Windows itself, which was previously available for free download.

Some of the optional updates in March include that the search bar on the taskbar is now better suited to light color mode. When the system theme is dark and the application mode is light (set in Settings > Personalization > Color), the search bar becomes brighter. In addition, there is a controversial new feature in the start menu, which is to push notifications for Microsoft accounts. These notifications remind users to back up files and try to promote OneDrive subscriptions or encourage users to use Microsoft accounts instead of local accounts. Microsoft says the feature is currently only available to some users and will be rolled out gradually in the coming months. According to the source, Microsoft will allow users to turn off these ads in the start menu in future updates.
