Tenpay will also continue to comprehensively reduce the operating costs of small and micro businesses by providing free security for collection of QR codes and concessions for operating materials, and a number of measures are expected to invest more than 10 billion yuan.

Tenpay, a third-party payment platform owned by Tencent Group, was approved by the central bank to obtain the first payment license in China in 2011. As of the fourth quarter of 2019, Tenpay had an average of more than 1 billion daily transactions, more than 50 million monthly active users, and more than 550 billion transactions in the whole year.

CTOnews.com learned that since Tenpay launched a number of fee reduction measures from September 2021 to June 2022, she has made a cumulative profit of about 3 billion in paying service fees, benefiting more than 20 million of small and micro businesses, which will last until September 30, 2024.
