Whether during development or after deployment, end products can be upgraded with new applications or new Bluetooth features to ensure compliance with the latest version of the specification. End product manufacturers can take full advantage of the previously released full feature set BLE specification, which developers now need only one chip to support devices based on Bluetooth 5.1Angle of arrival (AoA) / Angle of departure (AoD) function for direction-finding applications, or for products that add low-power stereo audio transmission through Bluetooth 5.2.Sync channel.

Renesas combines the new 22nm MCU with other compatible devices in its portfolio to create a "successful portfolio". As an engineering-proven system architecture, the successful portfolio seamlessly combines compatible Renesas devices to bring optimized, low-risk designs to market. Renesas has now launched more than 300 "successful product portfolios" based on a wide range of products in its product lineup, enabling users to shorten the design process and bring their products to market faster.

It is reported that Renesas has provided new device samples to some users and is expected to be fully available in the fourth quarter of 2023.
