CTOnews.com, April 11 (Xinhua) since Microsoft announced its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard in January last year, Sony has been expressing concerns about Microsoft's monopoly in front of European and British regulators.

Microsoft has reached a 10-year cloud game cooperation agreement with British telecom company EE (Everything Everywhere), according to Xbox director Phil Spencer.

(CTOnews.com Note: EE is an Internet service provider and mobile network operator headquartered in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK. )

Microsoft has promised that if it can complete its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, it will bring Activision Blizzard and PC games developed by Xbox to EE users in the form of cloud games, including "call of Duty", "Watchman" and "Halo" series.

Microsoft signed a similar agreement with Nvidia's GeForce Now gaming platform in February and a 10-year deal with Nintendo, but the final outcome still depends on Microsoft's approval of the controversial Activision Blizzard acquisition.

Microsoft has previously told regulators that 10 years is enough for Sony to develop games that can compete with the call of Duty series.
