CTOnews.com, April 11, Apple announced today that Apple BKC, its first store in Mumbai, India, will officially open on April 18, while Apple Saket, a second store in New Delhi, will open two days later, that is, April 20.

The "Apple BKC" store, located in Jio World Drive Mall, an upscale mall in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai's commercial and residential district, covers an area of about 22000 square feet (CTOnews.com Note: about 2043 square meters) and has the architectural style of a flagship store, similar to other Apple stores in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Beijing, Milan and Singapore.

To celebrate the opening of the Apple BKC and Apple Saket, Apple also launched special theme wallpapers for iPhone, iPad and Mac devices, as well as an Apple Music playlist called "sounds of Mumbai".
