CTOnews.com, April 11, LG CNS, South Korea's largest cloud computing service provider, announced on April 11 that it will strengthen its strategic partnership with Microsoft and use ChatGPT to develop new services. The two companies reached a cooperation agreement on Azure OpenAI services business at Microsoft headquarters on April 6.

According to CTOnews.com, Azure OpenAI service is an artificial intelligence service provided on Microsoft's cloud platform Azure. It uses OpenAI to develop ChatGPT technology, and provides a variety of artificial intelligence functions, such as language understanding, image analysis and emotion analysis.

The two companies will also collaborate on generative artificial intelligence, an area that uses data analysis and machine learning techniques to create new forms of results through algorithms learned from large amounts of data. including text generation artificial intelligence, painting artificial intelligence and voice reproduction artificial intelligence and so on.

To achieve this, LG CNS plans to create a dedicated team of artificial intelligence service developers, including artificial intelligence and cloud technology experts working with Microsoft. LG CNS will be responsible for developing services such as artificial intelligence contact centers for future customer service centers and knowledge chat robots that transmit specific knowledge and information, while Microsoft will provide consulting and technical support.

LG CNS will seek new artificial intelligence business opportunities for customers in manufacturing, finance, circulation, e-commerce and games. Even after acquiring customers, it plans to work with customers to discover the business goals and scenarios of artificial intelligence applications.

Shin-gyoon Hyun, CEO of LG CNS, stressed that the company will lead the market by rapidly developing new artificial intelligence services based on Microsoft's innovative cloud infrastructure, data analytics and Azure OpenAI technology.
