CTOnews.com April 11 news, NSC Technology recently launched a new 50W highly integrated, high-efficiency monolithic wireless power receiver / transmitter chip-SC9625, internal high-efficiency synchronous full-bridge rectifier.

SC9625 is compatible with the WPC Qi (v1.3) protocol and supports proprietary protocols. With ultra-small 2.875mm x 4.035mm WLCSP-54 package, it can be widely used in mobile phones, tablets, medical and industrial instruments and other fields.

According to reports, in the wireless charging system, it includes three major systems: input power supply, transmitting and receiving. SC9625 is called RTX (wireless charging receiver + transmitter chip) because it can not only be used as a 50W wireless charging receiving chip, but also can be used as a wireless charging transmitter by adding a power supply to the output.

As a receiver, SC9625 can provide 50W (20V / 2.5A) output power for downstream charger system. As a transmitter, it can support up to 15W output power to other wireless receivers.

In addition, the SC9625 integrates ultra-low R (on) MOSFET to convert AC power signals from a wireless transmitter to DC power, as well as a programmable LDO, which also includes a 32-bit on-chip MCU with multiple erasable memories to facilitate system firmware updates.
