CTOnews.com April 11, Apple today released iOS / iPadOS 15.7.5 updates as well as macOS Big Sur 11.7.6 and macOS Monterey 12.6.5 updates.

This update focuses on fixing a vulnerability labeled CVE-2023-28206, which Apple fixed in its macOS 13.3.1 update released last week.

This update does not introduce other enhancements and, like the iOS / iPadOS 15.7.5 update, mainly fixes the following two security vulnerabilities. IOSurfaceAccelerator:

Impact: applications can execute arbitrary code with kernel permissions.

Description: the out-of-bounds write problem has been fixed by improving input validation.

WebKit:

Impact: users visit malicious websites made by hackers and can execute arbitrary code after infection.

Description: fixed the use after free problem by improving memory management.

How do I upgrade the iOS / iPadOS / watchOS / macOS development version?
