CTOnews.com April 8 news, Hewlett-Packard recently issued a security announcement, found the number of "CVE-2023-1707"serious" vulnerability, its CVSS score of 9.1 points. Printers, including HP Enterprise LaserJet and HP LaserJet Managed, are affected.

Hewlett-Packard said the vulnerability was destructive and widespread, and that enabling IPsec in FutureSmart version 5.6 could lead to the disclosure of user information. CTOnews.com learned from the report that HP said it would take a long time to fix the vulnerability, which could take more than 90 days.

Hewlett-Packard has released temporary firmware to mitigate the impact of this "serious" vulnerability. Given the current situation, Hewlett-Packard revealed little more about the vulnerability.
