CTOnews.com, April 7 (Xinhua)-- Samsung sold the world's largest number of bar speakers in 2022 and has been the market leader for nine years in a row.

Samsung leads the bar speaker market with 18.4 per cent of sales and 20.2 per cent of revenue, according to the latest report from market research firm FutureSource Consulting. The report also shows that the bar speaker market is growing steadily year by year, with a growth rate of 5.7% in the past three years. About 23.16 million bar speakers have been sold worldwide, of which Samsung has sold about 4.2 million. Sales in the market are expected to reach 26 million by 2025.

Samsung launched its 2023 top-end bar speaker HW-Q990C earlier this year, priced at 1.990 million won (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 9866 yuan), with 11.1.4 channel speaker settings and wireless Dolby panoramic sound (Dolby Atmos), Q-Symphony 3.0, Space Fit Sound Pro and Game Mode Pro. It also has AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tap Sound, and SmartThings. The Q-Symphony can use up to 22 channels supported by a TV-compatible processor.
