In that month, 68040 vehicles were produced, compared with 62779 in the same period last year, and 3237 new energy vehicles were produced in the same period last year, compared with 2446 in the same period last year.

From January to March, car sales totaled 160237, up 14.44 percent from the same period last year, while sales of new energy vehicles totaled 6996, up 118.69 percent from the same period last year. Automobile production totaled 149807, up 5.45 percent over the same period last year, while new energy vehicle production totaled 6543, up 50.69 percent over the same period last year.
