CTOnews.com, April 7 (Xinhua)-- the Redmi Note 11 SE is the world's best-selling 5G smartphone with a wholesale price of less than $100 in 2022 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 688 yuan), according to TechInsights research.

The TechInsights smartphone model tracking (SMT) service points out that smartphones with 5G cellular connections have even infiltrated the lowest price range in recent quarters. In Q3 in 2022, only three important 5G models sold at wholesale prices below $100: the OPPO A55s 5G (more than 1 million units shipped in the quarter), the vivo Y33e 5G and the realme Narzo 305G.

However, there are already seven models of 5G smartphones priced at less than $100 wholesale on Q4 in 2022. The only model that shipped more than 1 million units in the quarter was Xiaomi Hongmi Note 11 SE 5G, but shipments of OPPO A565G, OPPO A55s 5G and vivo Y33e 5G were also large.
