In our work, we often split table data. Most people like to use "breakdown" to complete the splitting of table data, but not all data can be split by "breakdown." Here, let's take a look together!

My data, it's like this, the names are all crammed together.

Now, I want to split each name into a separate cell, as shown below:

If we use the "split" function, it is not the result we want in the end!

1, PQ split data Select the table data, and then go to "Data"-"Get and convert"-"From the table", in the pop-up "Create table" check "Table contains title" OK.

Select the Name column, click Home-Transform-Split Column-By Separator, expand Advanced Options, check Rows, and then OK.

Click "Home"-"Close and Upload". At this point, the data split is complete.

If you want to convert the final table into a regular table, select the table and go to Design-Tools-Convert to Region.
