According to CTOnews.com inquiry, the national standard of "express electronic waybill" was formally implemented on February 1, 2023, stipulating the categories, composition and specifications, regional division and information requirements, technical requirements, environmental protection requirements, test methods, transportation and storage of domestic express electronic waybills.

The national standard of "express electronic waybill" stipulates:

Express delivery enterprises and e-commerce operators should take measures to avoid displaying complete personal information of the sender on the electronic waybill. The name of the sender should be hidden more than 1 Chinese character, the contact number should be hidden more than 6 digits, and the address should hide the room number of the unit.

The hidden and encrypted information content on the express electronic waybill shall only be read legally by the express delivery enterprise and its authorized third party and relevant management departments.

Express enterprises and e-commerce operators should use radio frequency identification (RFID), mobile phone virtual security number, electronic paper and other technologies or products to fully encrypt the personal information on the express electronic waybill.
