According to reports, the production line workshop covers an area of more than 4000 square meters and introduces a high-end fully automatic intelligent production line, covering complete production processes such as liner forming, surface treatment, filament winding, curing, inspection and testing, product packaging, etc. And the physical, chemical and mechanical laboratory can carry out physical, chemical and mechanical evaluation experiments covering metal and non-metallic materials, such as inner tank material, inner tank, valve seat, aluminum alloy, sealing ring, retaining ring, carbon fiber, glass fiber, epoxy resin composite and so on. Realize the closed-loop control of the whole process from design and development, production and manufacturing to quality inspection to ensure the consistency, reliability and safety of the products.
After the project is put into production, the production capacity of hydrogen storage bottles will reach 10000 units per year, and it is expected to be formally put into production at the end of 2023 for supply to the global market. By 2026, the planned capacity will be expanded to 100000 units per year.
High-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage is mainly realized by high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders, which is the main form of hydrogen storage popularized commercially at present. At present, 35MPa III hydrogen storage bottle has been applied on a large scale in our country, but 70MPa IV hydrogen storage bottle is faced with many "sticking neck" problems because of technical difficulty, immature process level, relatively backward manufacturing equipment and so on. Compared with foreign countries, there is still a gap and development lags behind.
The unpotential energy focuses on the difficult problems of 70MPa IV hydrogen storage bottle technology and product localization. Based on the application requirements of different working conditions of the client, it has successively overcome many "sticking neck" technical problems of 70MPa IV hydrogen storage bottle, such as poor low temperature resistance, low product consistency and low reliability. The fuel cell vehicle achieves the comprehensive performance requirements of lightweight, long life, high safety and long service life for on-board hydrogen storage system. And many key test items such as fire test and durability test have been completed.
In addition, Unpotential Energy also launched an iterative upgrade of the "neck" technology of high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders. By tackling key core technologies such as new material development, innovative structure design, and innovation of "dry winding" technology, the second generation 70MPa 57L Ⅳ hydrogen storage bottle independently developed achieved fatigue test life of more than 44000 times and mass hydrogen storage density of 6.1wt%. It exceeds the target of 5.5wt% of the mass hydrogen storage density set by the US Department of Energy (DOE) in 2025, reaching the world's leading level.

In the later stage, with the upgrading and expansion of the production line of IV hydrogen storage bottles and valves, the production capacity will be further greatly increased.
