CTOnews.com, April 7 (Xinhua)-- Apple Store, located at the Alderwood Shopping Mall (Alderwood Mall) in Linwood, Washington, committed a burglary over the weekend. Thieves entered a nearby coffee shop, bypassed the security system, and stole a total of 436 iPhone, worth about $500000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3.44 million yuan).

According to Seattle media King 5 News, two thieves first broke into a coffee shop called Seattle Coffee Gear and cut a small passable hole in the bathroom wall.

The incident happened in the middle of the night and there were no Apple Store staff on duty. The two thieves then entered the back door of the Apple Store, bypassed the security system and stole 436 iPhone worth about $500000.

Eric Marks, manager of Seattle Coffee Gear, said the coffee shop is not adjacent to Apple Store on the facade, and there are some stores in the middle.

The two thieves had a clear target and did not steal anything from the coffee shop, but Max said it would cost $1500 to change the locks and repair the bathroom walls (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 10320 yuan).
