On April 6, CTOnews.com, BYD officially announced that Song PLUS sold more than 100000 cars in the first quarter of 2023. Of these, 35741 were sold in January 2023, 37961 in February and 32510 in March.

Song PLUS reached cumulative sales of more than 500000 vehicles in March this year. BYD Song PLUS sold a total of 365102 units in 2022.

The BYD Song PLUS series went on sale in March 2021, following the Song PLUS EV, Song PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS fuel versions. Song PLUS DM-i hybrid model is equipped with 1.5L hybrid engine + motor, the official feed fuel consumption is 4.4L / 100km, and the comprehensive mileage in hybrid mode exceeds 1000km.

The pure electric version of Song PLUS EV is equipped with a maximum power 135KW motor, a maximum torque of 280Nm, a blade battery of 71.7kW h, and a mileage of 505km (CTOnews.com Note: NEDC comprehensive operating conditions).

In March 2023, BYD sold 207080 new energy vehicles, with a cumulative sales of 552076 this year, an increase of 92.81 percent over the same period last year. Among them, BYD's dynasty brand sold 147443 vehicles, Ocean brand sold 48248 vehicles, and Tengli brand sold 10398 vehicles.

In March this year, BYD produced and sold 104476 and 102670 pure electric vehicles, compared with 54684 and 53664 in the same period last year, an increase of 91.05% and 91.32% over the same period last year. This year, the total production and sales of 267819 and 264647 vehicles, an increase of 85.70% and 84.78% over the same period last year.

In terms of plug-in hybrids, BYD's production and sales figures for March were 104356 and 103419 vehicles, with a total of 295127 and 283270 vehicles this year, an increase of 108.25% and 100.17% over the same period last year.
