CTOnews.com April 6 news, according to the latest report released by market research agency Yole Group, the global SSD market revenue will increase to 67 billion US dollars in 2028 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 460.96 billion yuan).

Figure Source: Micron's report points out that the global SSD market will be $29 billion in 2022 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 199.52 billion yuan), with shipments of 352 million yuan; in 2028, the market size will reach $67 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 460.96 billion yuan), with shipments of 472 million pieces, with a compound annual growth rate of 15%.

Of the 352 million SSD sold in 2022, about 55 million were enterprise SSD and the rest were consumer SSD. In the enterprise SSD, mainly PCIe SSD, up to 30 million, accounting for about 55%. CTOnews.com learned from the report that this figure will reach 79 million by 2028, accounting for about 71 per cent.
