CTOnews.com April 6 news, Activision recently announced the upgrade of RICOCHET Anti-Cheat mechanism, the development of a new algorithm, more effective detection of XIM type of hardware cheating.

XIM devices allow users to connect a mouse and keyboard to a game console and mistake the game console for a game console. This means that players can get many unfair advantages in the actual competition.

Activision says current anti-cheating systems for XIM types have been used in call of Duty: modern Warfare II and call of Duty: war Zone 2.0 games.

The "Ricochet Anti-Cheat" program is a multi-dimensional anti-cheating system with new server-side tools for monitoring and analysis to identify cheating, improving the investigation process to eliminate cheaters, updating to enhance account security, and so on.

The back-end anti-cheating security function of "Ricochet" has been applied to "call of Duty ®: modern Warfare ®II 2022", "call of Duty ®: pioneer" and "call of Duty ®: war Zone ™". In addition to the server enhancements brought by "Ricochet", a new kernel-level driver on the PC side has been introduced, which is developed internally for the "call of Duty" series. And has been applied to "Modern Warfare II 2022", "Pioneer" and "War Zone".
