CTOnews.com, April 6, according to the latest report released by Piper Sandler, 87% of American teenagers surveyed said that teenagers with at least one iPhone;88% said the next phone would be the iPhone.

Apple has a growing proportion of iPhone among American teenagers, with only 40 per cent of American teenagers having an iPhone in a 2012 report.

The new report says 35% of American teenagers own an Apple Watch smartwatch, up 4% from a survey last fall. Fifteen per cent of American teenagers said they would buy an Apple Watch within the next six months.

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that 29% of American teenagers own VR head display devices, but the frequency of use is not high. Only 14% of American teenagers use it every week, while only 4% use it every day.

A total of 61% of teenagers who did not show up with VR said they had no plans to buy. Sixteen percent said they had some interest and might buy, while only 7 percent expressed a deeper interest and said they planned to buy.
