CTOnews.com, April 6 (Xinhua)-- there are many problems in the macOS 13.3 and iOS 16.4 updates released by Apple last week, according to feedback from MacRumors forums, the Reddit community, Twitter social platforms and Apple's official support forums.

Apple released iOS / iPadOS 16.4 and macOS 13.3 on March 28, with 21 new emoticons, optimized car accident detection, several Shortcuts shortcut instructions, and so on.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that the update of iOS 16.4 has reduced the battery life of a number of iPhone batteries, and users have also reported that there are BUG in Handoff, Universal Clipboard, Auto Unlock and Approve with Apple Watch functions.

One of the problems that receive the most feedback from users is the continuous interworking (Continuity) function, which makes it impossible to use universal control (Universal Control) properly.

Continuous interworking

When you use Mac, iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch alone, you are already able to do extraordinary things. Use them together and you will be able to create more wonderful things. You can use the iPhone as a camera for the Mac; you can answer the phone without picking up the iPhone; and your Mac can be unlocked automatically when you wear the Apple Watch. Such a tacit understanding, only because they are born to cooperate with each other.

Universal control

You can control Mac and iPad at the same time with a keyboard, mouse or trackpad. You can move the cursor smoothly across devices, give full play to the advantages of each device, and create in a new way. For example, draw an elaborate illustration on iPad with Apple Pencil, and then drag it directly to the presentation you are working on on Mac.

User feedback: in addition to rolling back to previous versions, possible solutions include logging off and logging back into the iCloud account on both devices; re-enabling Apple Watch, Handoff / Auto Unlock, WiFi, Bluetooth, and so on.
