The business scope of Xuzhou Xugong Fudi Battery Technology Co., Ltd. includes: battery manufacturing; battery sales; new energy vehicle waste power battery recycling and echelon utilization. The company is jointly owned by Fudi Battery Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of BYD, and Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd., an affiliated company of Xugong Group.

CTOnews.com inquired that on November 8 last year, BYD Co., Ltd. established a strategic partnership with the Xuzhou Municipal Government of Jiangsu Province, and its power battery subsidiary FinDreams Battery signed a cooperation agreement with Xugong Group. Through cooperation, BYD plans to build a new power battery factory in Xuzhou Economic and technological Development Zone.

On January 4 this year, the foundation of BYD's new energy power battery production base in Xuzhou was laid. The project is located in Xuzhou Economic and technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan to build a blade battery production line. Part of the production line is scheduled to be put into operation in December 2023.
