According to foreign media reports on April 4, Tesla is seeking to increase its fourth production shift in his Berlin super factory to double its weekly output from 5000 to 10,000 vehicles, hoping to reach an annual production rate of 500000 vehicles.

It is reported that the Berlin super factory is Tesla's fourth super factory, which was decided to be built in November 2019, opened on March 22, 2022, and currently only produces Model Y.

Since its opening, the production capacity of the factory has been increasing. The plant's weekly production reached 1000 vehicles in mid-June 2022, increased to 2000 in October 2022, 3000 in December 2022, 4000 in February 2023 and 5000 in March 2023.

At the end of March this year, Tesla confirmed that it had added a third shift at the Berlin superfactory, which helped the company achieve its weekly production capacity of 5000 cars a week.

The factory has an annual production target of 500000 vehicles, or about 10, 000 vehicles a week. However, at present, the factory has not yet reached the production rate of 500000 cars a year.
