According to reports, the number of mobile animal network connections in China has exceeded the number of mobile phone users for the first time, and the number of IPV6 active users has exceeded 700 million. By the end of 2022, a total of 2.31 million 5G base stations have been built and opened in China, and the gigabit optical network has the capacity to cover more than 500 million households.

He said that China's data output ranks second in the world. Data sharing also made positive progress last year, with 208 provincial and urban local governments launching open government data platforms.

At present, the scale of China's digital economy ranks second in the world and has become one of the main engines to promote economic growth; the online service index remains in the lead in the world, and the e-government development index is in the forefront of the world; the transformation of cultural digitization is accelerated and the network culture is booming; the construction of digital society promotes the sharing of high-quality service resources; the construction of digital ecological civilization promotes green and low-carbon development. The capability of digital technology innovation in key areas has been continuously improved; the digital security system has been continuously consolidated; digital governance has created a good development environment; and international cooperation in the digital field has forged broad consensus.

The State Information Office held a press conference this morning (April 3). Relevant responsible persons of the State Internet Information Office and Fujian Province introduced the relevant situation of the sixth Digital China Construction Summit.
