Musk tweeted: "earlier today, I walked the entire Cyber pickup production line in the Texas superfactory for a few hours. It was great! it feels like the future."

Musk's tweet reveals an important message that the Cybertruck production line has been built, and as production approaches, a real production area is being assembled.

According to CTOnews.com, Tesla has been trying to get Cybertruck into production as soon as possible, but Musk said earlier this year that initial production would begin this summer and mass production would begin in 2024. Cybertruck is an innovative electric pickup truck launched by Tesla in Hawthorne, California in November 2019, but production has been delayed several times.

There are many reasons for production delays, including the impact of COVID-19 's epidemic on battery supply and supply chain efficiency. In addition, Tesla has been optimizing the design, and although Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla's chief vehicle designer, said there will never be a moment to stop optimizing, the size and function of the vehicle have basically been determined.

In the past, Tesla vehicles approaching the initial stage of production were usually found on public roads because Tesla was conducting tests. Cybertruck is no exception. The all-electric pickup has been photographed frequently since 2023 and appeared on the test track at the Tesla Fremont factory yesterday.

Tesla has been preparing for Cybertruck production at the Texas super factory, and over the past few months, the manufacturing equipment that will be used for the vehicle has been arriving at the factory. It is reported that Tesla will use IDRA's 9000-ton super die casting machine to make Cybertruck castings, one of which has been installed in a super factory in Texas, and the other is about to arrive, according to import documents. IDRA, headquartered in Italy, delivers its machines directly to Tesla.

Expectations for Cybertruck are high, and it is reported that more than 1 million people have ordered the truck.
