Scientists do not know why there is a supermassive black hole in the center of some galaxies, or how these black holes become so large. Some people think that they are formed by the merger of small black holes, which are formed by the collapse of stars in the early universe. It is also believed that they came from the direct collapse of a large amount of gas in the early universe.

Dr. Larson of the University of Texas at Austin and her team used the Weber Space Telescope to look at a galaxy that Hubble had previously identified as the brightest galaxy known in the early universe. but the Hubble Space Telescope could not see what was inside the galaxy. According to CTOnews.com, the Webb Space Telescope used two cameras and two spectroscopes to analyze the different wavelengths of light emitted by galaxies and found black holes hidden in the center of the galaxy. Based on their distance from Earth, they believe that the black hole was born 570 million years after the Big Bang.

Dr Mulaney of the University of Sheffield in the UK said the black hole was too massive to evolve from a stellar mass black hole. Related research has been submitted to the paper preprint website.
