According to the announcement, the Kyushu Yunjian 70-ton "Longyun" engine completed a joint hot swing test of the two-wheel engine plus servo mechanism at the Bengbu Power Test Center. the engine completed the maximum angle swing of ±8 °under rated operating conditions and carried out sine wave pendulum circle and frequency sweep tests. during the test, the engine and actuator worked normally, and all performance indicators were normal, and the test run was a complete success.

Kyushu Yunjian is a commercial aerospace company specializing in the development of deep variable thrust liquid oxygen methane engine supporting rocket recovery and reuse, with complete high and low pressure liquid flow test conditions and engine thermal test bench. Up to now, Kyushu Yunjian has signed nearly 100 million yuan in contracts for various products and services, and has successfully served nearly 10 customers both inside and outside the system.

"Longyun" is the second high-thrust, recyclable liquid rocket engine launched by Kyushu Yunjian. The designed thrust-to-weight ratio of the "Longyun" engine at sea level is more than 75, the sea level thrust is 70 tons, the vacuum version is 80 tons, and the thrust adjustment range is 30% to 110%. At present, the "Longyun" engine has completed many times of starting, deep variable push and long-range test, passed the customer review, and completed thousands of seconds of verification in 2021.
