Wang Chuanfu believes that new energy vehicles are surging forward, ushering in a critical stage from quantitative change to qualitative change, and the iteration of old and new things ushered in a historic tipping point. The automobile market in the first quarter has reflected this adjustment. The timetable for the full electrification of cars in China is in advance, and the process is accelerating, even faster than expected.

"the industry is now a mixture of joys and sorrows. The good news is that China's automobile market is huge, but the worry is that the market competition is also extremely fierce. at this time, the industry is not big fish eat small fish, may be fast fish eat slow fish. In the period of great change, enterprises should have innovative technology, accurate strategy and flexible decision-making, all of which are indispensable. Only in this way can they survive." Wang Chuanfu said.

In Wang Chuanfu's view, at present, the world economy is in a complex and changeable difficult period. The purchase tax subsidy for new energy vehicles in China was withdrawn at the end of last year, and the purchase tax relief policy has been clearly defined until the end of this year. Considering the long development cycle of new energy vehicles, long-term arrangements need to be made from product development, design to cost management.

"it is suggested that the state extend the purchase tax relief policy to 2025, hoping to introduce it quickly, stabilize expectations, and give play to the role of 'ballast stone' and 'power source' in the new energy vehicle market." Wang Chuanfu said.

Second, the state is promoting the establishment of overfilling standards. At present, there is no consensus in the industry. in order to get rid of bottlenecks and prejudices, it is recommended to adopt the mode of fast charging with multiple guns, that is, you can charge a car with two or more guns at the same time. Multi-gun operation has five major advantages:

First, be compatible with the past. At present, there are more than 10 million new energy vehicles. If we charge more than one gun quickly, we can take into account the more than 10 million vehicles in the past.

Second, it can be expanded in the future. Heavy trucks or larger battery-loaded vehicles in the future may require more power. "the fast charging power under discussion now is 350kW. What if 500kW is needed? do you want to speed up the charge on the fast charge? in fact, multiple guns can solve this problem. One gun is 120kW, six guns is 720kW, and 10 guns is 1200 kilowatts, which is completely scalable."

Third, be friendly to users. Increasing the charging power will increase the weight of the charging gun, resulting in a poor user experience, especially for female users. Multi-gun overcharge is more convenient, one person takes two guns and more than two people carry one gun.

Fourth, be friendly to chargers. The original charging facilities do not need to be dismantled, and only a certain number of gun heads or cabinets need to be added to make the best use of the existing facilities.

Fifth, there is no need to change the existing standards. At present, there is a lot of debate about the standard in the industry. multi-gun overcharge can solve all the problems and resolve the disputes of different opinions on the standard.

Wang Chuanfu said: "BYD has more than 100 patents on multi-gun fast charging, and we are also willing to provide them to the industry for free use."
