CTOnews.com April 1 news, AMD has officially released the A620 entry-level chipset, mainly for the 65W sharp dragon 7000 series processor design, each manufacturer's A620 motherboard will be available in April.

As shown in the above figure, AMD A620 motherboard will be the lowest positioning one in the current AM5 motherboard, does not support CPU overclocking, but still retains the memory overclocking function.

By design, the A620 motherboard offers PCIe 4.0 x16 connectivity, but does not support 2x8 mode operation as the B650 does. In addition, the A620 motherboard supports PCIe 4.0x4 M.2 SSDs directly connected to the CPU. Some A620 motherboards will offer two M.2 SSD slots and one via the A620 chipset.

AMD says the A620 motherboard starts at $85 (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 585 yuan). MSI, ASUS and ASRock have now released their A620 motherboards, and the Bank of China price has not yet been announced.
