CTOnews.com April 1, 2023-Statcounter, a research organization, released its April 2023 report, revealing the latest statistics about browsers.

CTOnews.com attaches all platforms as follows:

Chrome ranked first in March with 64.8% global market share, down 0.96 percentage points from 65.76% the previous month.

Safari came in second with a 19.5 percent share, up 0.66 percentage points from the previous month.

Edge came in third with a 4.63 percent share, up 0.35 percentage points from the previous month.

Finally, Firefox came in fourth with 2.93 percent share, essentially unchanged from the previous month.

Browsers such as Samsung browser, Opera, UC browser and so on divided up the remaining market share.

On the desktop side:

Chrome was No. 1 in March with 65.8% global market share, down 0.35 percentage points from 66.15% the previous month.

Edge came in second with a share of 11.12 percent, up 0.27 percentage points from the previous month.

Safari came in third with 10.91 percent share, up 0.78 percentage points from the previous month.

Finally, Firefox came in fourth with 6.48 percent share, down 0.36 percentage points from the previous month.

Browsers such as Opera, IE, and 360 Secure shared the remaining market share.

On the phone:

Chrome was No. 1 in March with 64.67% global market share, down 1.43 percentage points from 66.1% the previous month.

Safari came in second with a share of 25.07 percent, up 1.11 percentage points from the previous month.

Samsung's browser ranked third with a share of 4.49%, up 0.12 percentage points from the previous month.

Opera finished fourth with a share of 1.8 percent, up 0.09 percentage points from the previous month.

Browsers such as UC Browser, Android Browser and Firefox divided up the remaining market share.
