Therefore, the interaction habits and application experience of CAX software come from PC, but the performance bottleneck, stability defects and decentralized management and control mode of PC have laid a lot of hidden dangers for the evolution of CAX data platform production mode. Software license sharing

Enterprises represented by CAD and CAE tool software manufacturers focus on developing data flow management systems such as PDM, SDM, EKM, etc., hoping to achieve CAX application process coordination by using end-user check-in / check-out data files, so as to gradually improve CAX data production mode on the premise of retaining stand-alone application experience.

After a comprehensive analysis of these explorations carried out by CAX users, it is not difficult to find that the technologies of software authorization time-sharing and dynamic scheduling of hardware resources are highly compatible with the cloud computing model, while the existing data flow management system has left a huge gap in the data production process, which can be filled perfectly by using cloud computing technology. Therefore, we can conclude that cloud computing will be a necessary stage in the evolution of CAX computing model.
