CTOnews.com, March 31 (Xinhua)-- Boeing's first manned space mission for NASA has been postponed again, and the first manned flight test (CFT) is expected on July 21, 2023.

In addition, CTOnews.com learned from NASA's official Twitter that CST-100 Starliner will have two NASA test pilots, Sun Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore. The two will stay at the International Space Station for two weeks before returning to Earth and landing in White Sands, New Mexico.

Assuming that all mission objectives can be successfully accomplished, NASA can formally certify that Starliner is certified for manned flight and have it take turns with SpaceX's Crew Dragon to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station.

According to Nappi, Boeing is "making the progress we need to prepare for crew rotation in the winter of 2024." Boeing estimates that once rotation begins, the Starliner will need to fly once a year.
