CTOnews.com March 30 news, dedicated to Microsoft reporter Brad Sams revealed in the latest podcast program, Microsoft plans to launch the next Windows system in 2024, three years away from the launch of Win11, estimated to be named "Windows 12" after listing.

Sams revealed in the podcast that Win12 was internally codenamed Hudson Valley, while Win11 is currently internally codenamed Sun Valley. The Hudson River Valley is a river valley formed around the Hudson River in New York State from Albany and Troy in the north to Yonkers in the south.

According to German media deskmodder, the memory requirements of the "Win12" system have been upgraded from 4 GB to 8GB, and a Pluton chip is required to complete specific tasks and versions.

Pluton is a secure processor integrated directly into the main processor of computers, tablets and smartphones. It is designed to provide a hardware-based root of trust that helps ensure that the security features of a device are tamper-resistant and secure.

Microsoft intends to retain existing TPM (Trusted Platform Module) and processor requirements. The increase in memory may be related to cloud system CloudPC services.
