CTOnews.com March 30, Microsoft released a note again on Wednesday, recommending that enterprises and users currently using Office 2016 Microsoft 2019 migrate to subscription-based Microsoft 365 Apps as soon as possible.

Microsoft said that Office 2016 Microsoft 2019 users will no longer support Microsoft 365 connections starting from October 10, 2023. Users can still access Microsoft 365 after that date, but there may be a variety of situations such as unstable connections.

In a statement sent to foreign technology media ZDNet in August last year, Microsoft clarified that CTOnews.com attached the following content:

We will not prevent the supported Office 2016DB 2019 from connecting to the Microsoft 365 cloud service. However, as announced in April 2017, we plan to stop mainstream support for Office client connections to Microsoft 365 cloud services.

This means that when we update Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and other Microsoft 365services, we will not build around the inherent limits of older persistent Office clients that have exceeded mainstream support. Users' connectivity will not be hindered, but they may not be able to get full functionality from cloud services. As time goes by, they may encounter unexpected problems.
