CTOnews.com March 30 news, every once in a while, Microsoft's Defender will have a problem, marking a normal file or URL as a malicious file or link. This problem is now happening again, and Microsoft has confirmed that Defender has malfunctioned again, resulting in mistakenly marking normal URL links as malicious links.

System administrators have received a large number of erroneous email security alerts, and Microsoft 365 Status official tweets have confirmed the problem, saying it can be tracked through "DZ534539" on the Microsoft 365 Management Center portal.

These high-risk alert emails say "potentially malicious URL clicks have been detected". In addition, administrators may not be able to use the View Alerts link in the message to view alert details.

Microsoft is reviewing service monitoring data to determine the root cause of the problem and develop a solution.
