CTOnews.com, March 29 (Xinhua)-- Mercedes-Maybach EQS Pure Electric SUV, Mercedes-Maybach's first mass-produced pure electric model, will make its world debut at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 17, according to the change car report. The new car is based on the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, focuses on the luxury large SUV market, and is expected to have more luxurious configurations and stronger performance.

In terms of interior, Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is expected to adopt a manufacturing concept similar to the concept car, with more luxurious materials and craftsmanship, a 2x2 seat layout, a standard MBUX super-connected screen, front and rear executive seats of the same origin as the Maybach S-Class sedan, rear leg space expansion components and other designs.

In terms of power, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is expected to be equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with a combined maximum power of more than 385kW, a peak torque of more than 828Nm and a maximum range of 600km. As a reference, the listed Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV includes three models with a reference price of 910500-1.1005 million yuan.

Mercedes-Benz EQS is based on EVA pure electric platform and is positioned as a large pure electric SUV. The car will offer two optional powertrains of 450kW and 4504MATIC, with rear single motor rear wheel drive with a maximum power of 265kW and maximum torque of 568Nm, and 4504MATIC with dual-motor four-wheel drive with a maximum power of 265kW and a maximum torque of 800Nm. The ternary lithium battery pack with the capacity of 111.8kWh is used in both power systems, and the maximum mileage under CLTC condition is 742km.
